Why is everyone talking about the year 2012?
The Solstice on December 21, 2012 ~ precisely at 11:11 AM
Universal Time ~ marks the completion of the 5,125 year Great Cycle of
the Ancient Maya Long Count Calendar.
Rather than being a linear end-point, this cycle that is closing is
naturally followed by the start of a new cycle. What this new cycle has
in store for humanity is a mystery that has yet to unfold...
2012 is also considered the completion of the 26,000 year Precession of
the Equinoxes cycle, and some say it also signifies the end of a 104,000
year cycle.
The recent "2012" movie serves to alert a targeted 140 million people,
in case they too haven't already heard the news. Unfortunately, however,
the movie does a dis-service because it distorts the message of this
ancient prophecy by associating it with fear and destruction, as
depicted by the movie's global disaster scenario, rather than the themes
of transformation and renewal the prophecy is actually based in.
The 2012 date indeed marks the completion of this World Age Cycle.
Rather than something to fear, we can understand the 2012
prophecy as signaling
us that we need to awaken and realize that these times on Earth are
auspicious; we are living in land-mark times in the history of our
planet.
We are collectively in a cross-roads moment that is calling out to us to
participate in our fullest capacity. We are each being summoned to bring
our inspiration and empowerment to the fore, as we must all take our
places in transforming our human culture to be one of Harmony - with
ourselves, with each other and with all of Nature.
Together we are in a
great initiation process, living in times of unprecedented
challenge, transformation and opportunity. This planetary moment has
never existed before as it does right now. Our human population is
climbing off the charts, accelerating by the day, as is our
environmental crises and the vast whole-system struggles of peoples
worldwide, both physically and spiritually. The old world mentality,
founded in separation, greed, ignorance, and unconscious consumer
materialism, has reached dangerous peaks. Simultaneously, there has
never been so much possibility at our fingertips as there is right now.
A new paradigm is trying to emerge in our world, through our hearts and
minds, like a flower trying to grow through the cracks in the cement
sidewalk. New comprehensions and new solutions are emerging in our
collective journey - from new sciences, to new economic models, new
healing modalities, new energy technologies, new educational models, new
forms of conflict resolution, etc. These times of crisis are unifying us
and catalyzing us to awaken to our personal and collective
responsibilities in this one planetary equation.
As we perceive the
2012 completion date as a reminder to us from the Ancients that
right here and now we are living in precious times, we can realize how
critical it is that we align together in respect for life, becoming more
and more conscious of how our intentions and actions affect the Whole.
This is an important theme of this prophecy: Becoming Conscious of
All that has been Unconscious. It is time to see and know and
become aware of how we can participate directly in this great
transformation process, inside of ourselves and in our shared world,
from the energies we transmit through our feelings and intentions, to
the details of our lifestyle choices.
The New Cycle that is to emerge is founded on us awakening to the beauty
and responsibility of our interconnectedness. Every one of us has a
piece in this cosmic puzzle, and we must help each other find our
heart's guidance in these mysterious times. As we recognize we are in a
Global Healing Crisis, we can shake off the wounded victim mentality,
and arise as Medicine Warriors, here to do the necessary work to help
lay the ground for a New Era to root, conscious of our obligations to
future generations.

Wolves Within
 A Cherokee Legend
An
old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. "A fight is going on
inside me," he said to the boy.
"It
is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger,
envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment,
inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego." He continued, "The
other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness,
benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same
fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."
The
grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather,
"Which wolf will win?"
  
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
Here is the
same story, but it is called "Grandfather Tells" which is also known as "The
Wolves Within"
An
old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend
who had done him an injustice, "Let me tell you a story.
I
too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much,
with no sorrow for what they do.
But
hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison
and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many

Cusp Of Great Cycle
 We
are living today in the cusp of the Mayan end times, the end of a
galactic day or time period spanning thousands of years. One galactic
day of 25,625 years is divided into five cycles of 5,125 years.
The Great Cycle of the Mayan Long Count calendar ends on the winter
solstice of 2012 A.D. Following Mayan concepts of cyclic time and World
Age transitions, this is as much about beginnings as endings. In fact,
it was considered by the ancient Mayans to signify the creation of a new
World Age. We are almost at the end of the fifth and final 5,125 year
cycle!
God Has A Plan
God has a Plan for me . . (and one for you, too!) It is hidden within
me, just as the oak is hidden within the acorn, or the rose within the
bud. As I yield myself more fully to God, His Plan expresses itself
NON-perfectly through me. I can tell when I am in tune with it, for then
my mind and heart are filled with a deep inner peace. This peace fills
me with a sense of security, with joy and a desire to take the Steps
that are part of the Plan.
God’s Plan for me is a perfect part of a larger Plan. It is designed for
the good of all and not for me alone. It is a many-sided Plan and
reaches out through all the people I meet. All the events and people who
come into my life are instruments for the unfolding of this Plan.
God has chosen those
people he wants me to know, to love and to serve. We are continually
being drawn to one another in ways that are not coincidental. I pray
that I may become more worthy to receive the love and service of others.
I ask the Father within
me for only those things which He wants me to have. I know that these
benefits will come to me at the right time and in the right way. This inner
knowing frees my mind and heart from all fear, greed, jealousy, anger and
resentment. It gives me courage and faith to do those things which I feel
are mine to do. I no longer look with envy at what others are receiving, nor
do I compare myself with them. Therefore, I do not cut myself off from God,
the giver of all good things.
God’s gifts to me can be
many times greater than I am now receiving. I pray that I may increase my
capacity to give, for I can give only as I receive and receive only as I
give.
I believe that when I
cannot do those things I desire to do; it is because God has closed that one
door, only to leave ajar a better and larger door.
If I do not see that
door just ahead, it is because I have not seen, heard, or obeyed God’s
guidance. It is then that God uses the trouble or seeming failure which may
result to help me face myself and see the new opportunity before me.
The real purpose of my
life is to find God within my own mind and heart, and to help my fellowmen.
I thank my Father for each new experience which helps me to surrender my
will to do His Will. For only as I lose myself in the consciousness of His
Great Presence can His Plan for my life be fulfilled.

Did you hear about the rose that grew from a crack
in the concrete? Proving nature's law is wrong it learned to walk
with out having feet. Funny it seems, but by keeping its dreams, it
learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from
concrete when no one else ever cared.
Elijah was my little rose that grew through the concrete, born with
issues that he should not have had to deal with, overcoming so much
for so long, I know that GOD knew what was best for him, and decided
to take him back home so he could care for him. I thank you GOD for
choosing me to be apart of Elijah's life even if for a short time.
He deserved so much more in life than the cards that he was dealt,
and I hope that I made his little journey a little smoother along
the way and I hope that he felt love while in my home. He truly
opened up my heart to more love and joy and I thank GOD for the
experience in knowing him. We must all come together and become a
village for ALL children, no children should go through life feeling
unloved, unwanted or uncared for. Elijah was not my biological

My Beautiful Mother

What Have We Done? -Deja
I mourn for my Mother
Earth., I pray that my Father in the Heavens will intervene and heal
her sacred womb. She is hemorrhaging in the Gulf of Mexico. What
have we done? Why have we allowed mankind to destroy a woman so beautiful? Our desire
for oil, fancy cars, high powered jets, the luxurious lifestyle has
left our Mother barren.
It has taken away her vitamins, her ability to produce, her energy,
and now possibly her life. As Mother Earth continues to be hurt by
mankind; what we don't realize is that our activities will reduce
the amount of resources available for us. Father GOD and Mother
Earth are here for US, to protect US, to care for US, and to love
US. Yet time and time again look what we are doing to them. Look how
unappreciative of them we truly are.
We cut down trees, yet we don't want to plant a replacement. We
destroy woodlands, we destroy recreational parks and lakes and build
resorts and condominiums. We litter, throwing our garbage at our
mother, not caring that we are dirtying her beautiful body. Don't
you see her cry, as the floods rise? Don't you see her tremble, as
the earth shakes? Don't you see her stress as her insides erupt into
volcanoes?
A beautiful, colorful mother Earth unlike anything else in the
world. So beautiful, yet so overlooked and unappreciated..
At the same time growth in human population increases demand for
resources. This is putting a huge strain on Mother Earth. There may
be no limit to the damage we can do our planet, but there is also no
limit to the good we can do for our planet. As far as I'm concerned,
the Earth is only wounded. It's up to us to heal her wounds, and
shield her from further hurt.
